Hi

I've asked this question before and the answer i got was to start 1 to 2 days earlier. I'm just look for and estimate time, how long would it take to smoke 2 - 10lb briskets and 4 - 8 lb pork butts? in a smoker temp. would be about  230 - 250 if need be my meat temp would be 190deg. I know it takes about and hour to hour quarter per pound of meat. just looking for more input. Chris

Just for my own peace of mind, I allow 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs per pound. I haven't found a  way to smoke them for an exact amount of time to reach the IT I'm shooting for. The meat is done when it's done. Sorry this isn't more helpful in giving you an exact amount of time.

This is my smoker I built.

The meat that I cooked for 17 hours.

I do have to say smoking all this meat at 220 degrees wasn't to bad. Two 12lbs brisket, and four 8lbs pork butts. Pork bone pulled right out of the meat, and brisket cut like butter. The party people were going crazy over it.

Sunday was a 12 rack of pork ribs for mother's day, once again bone pulled right off the meat.
