Got a question about smoking a turkey, I can only get my MES to run consistantly at 250 max. If all i can do is 250 do y'all think i can get 40 -140 in 4 hrs???

Bob that will work fine as long as the bird is around 12 lbs or under tho you may have to crisp the skin on the grill or in the oven if you want it crisp

Ray Luna, first if you haven't done it already, go to our roll call and fill in your info. and tell us about your self. Be sure to mention the type of unit you are cooking on and your experience.

Now, read the post on doing Turkeys and follow the safety precautions. You should be able to do your Turkey easily then, and your Christmas meal will be a success.

Have a great holiday and ...

will try my first turkey this year wish me luck
