hey guys looking at cooking a pork shoulder to make pulled pork I have 4 pound shoulder and have rubbed it down already I'm looking at cooking from 7:30am and hoping it is ready to eat by 5:30pm-8:30pm at 225 F I have a internal thermometer ready to go just want to know if this is a good time slot to cook or not. I'm using a fornetto bullet smoker and have cooked baby back ribs on it before for 3 hours and came out perfect hoping to try and get a perfect pulled pork dinner for the family ?

A 4 lb. shoulder smoked at 225, should only take about 8 hours.

I think it will be done way ahead of time, but you can keep it hot in a 170 degree oven double wrapped in foil until your ready to pull it for dinner.
