Hello All,

I am residing in St. Louis, MO, I have been grilling for many years however just began trying my hand at using a smoker a little over a year ago. Originally wasn't sure how I would like smoking meat or if I would like the way it would turn out so I purchased a cheap Brinkman (Commonly referred to as the el cheapo brinkman). Made some modifications that I found on the internet and it has treated me well. However I am finally ready to move on to a smoker that is a little more reliable that I don't have to watch like a hawk. I was finally able to convince my wife today that it would be great to get an electric smoker. I am going to go purchase this masterbuilt today. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Masterbuilt-30-in-Electric-Smoker-20070612/202904341  We are throwing a baby shower for my sister tomorrow (Sat 05/11/13)and wouldn't ya know the loving wife volunteered me to make pulled pork. I have made it before on my brinkman, however I have to have it ready in the early afternoon. I am figuring that I will need to get started really early and would like to be able to take short naps while cooking (impossible with the brinkman the temperature requires to much monitoring). So I will try and take a few pictures and let you know how it all turns out.

Go Cardinals!!
