Finally getting cold and just got my first smoker last week. Proud owner of a GOSM 3405BGW. A Wal-mart steal at $50!!

Looking forward to many great tasting treats once I learn through reading this great forum and trial and error cooking.

Gonna try some Wicked Baked Beans for a little camp card tournament to go with our burgers. Beans and camp.... made for each other.

Thanks for all the good info so far and look forward to chatting with many of you! Those of you down south PA and around Williamsport... Watch for my smoke signals... it means something good is in the works.

Great deal on the GOSM, My GOSM Gasser was a Wally Word after season steal too.
Sounds like your near Route 11 or Route 15.
I agree sign up for the Free 5 Day Class, I just did the other day. Good Info.

You guys up north are lucky, Walmart marks down stuff like that up there, around here they keep the grills and smokers out year round and they don't mark them down

They don't mark em down up here. They stay about the same price all winter long + / - $20 or so. I think they add about $20 around Memorial day then they stay about the same.

A thing that is hard to get over is the fact I am actually buying wood on EBAY?? Who would of thunk it?

Black Cherry is non-existent around my area. Kane PA is supposed to be one of the best areas for it and I just got 8lbs and will be ordering 60lb more. Wow does it smell and taste great!
