Gilbert, AZ
Hey all, I'm Bill from Gilbert AZ. I'm a noob to food forums, but not all forums and certainly not to smoking or cooking. My usual hang out is over at bimmerforums or Stanceworks. I just just purchased my first smoker today, that is to say that it's the first smoker I actually paid for. It's a Traeger Texas Grill from Costco that I just finished assembling and am in the process of seasoning at this very moment!  I'll likely be asking more than advising other than input on flavor profiles or beer pairings.

Cheers!

Welcome to the site! I'm a noob here as well. I'm over on the west side of town In Buckeye! Lots of good info and everybody seems really laid back.

Welcome to the SMF Family...BEER PAIRINGS!?!?...If it's COLD it pairs with BBQ!...

Just kidding...I hear you, there are some great Flavor Profiles in many beers that can compliment great food and drive the check average up...Try Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale with a Butternut Squash Ravioli in a Portabella Mushroom and Madiera Sauce!...YUM!

Thanks for the welcomes! I'll be firing up the Traeger soon for some salmon, ribs and chicken. If I get a chance, I'll post up some pictures
