Hello Again Folks,

Meowey back with the second part of the Charity smoke. I posted the butt portion of the smoke last week. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/for...ead.php?t=9680 Today is the Baby Backs and Wicked Beans along with the Brunswick stew.

Ribs racked, rubbed and ready!

WOW, Those look great. I've got a slab with some chicken and a fattie in the smoke now, will post pics later. Hope mine turns out looking as half as good as yours Meowey.

All looks good in meoweyland, especially that stew.

That stew is making my taste buds screaming "Give Me Some".

All went well! Lots of money was raised for the Foundation! The folks raved about the food. I don't know what was most appreciated. They ribs were falling off the bone tender and tasty. The pulled pork is always a favorite. The surprise to all was the Brunswick Stew. Most folks had never had it. I had to explain many times how it was made and what was in it. The standard response was, "OK, I'll try a little bit.", and 3 minutes later they were back asking for more. Several folks who passed on it came and asked for some after hearing all the rave reviews of the stew.

Time for the Q-view!

Picture plate. (I asked one of the helpers to fix a plate for a picture. He wanted to know how I wanted it done. My response was that I didn't care because he was going to have to eat it. That plate was fixed so fast my head is still spinning. He then disappeared for a while, only to reappear for a second plate! LOL)

All in all, a great time!
