Hi everyone,
MrGriz, aka Mike here from Waterford, WI (southeastern part of the state). I found you all while I was surfing for some ideas yesterday and have already learned a lot!

I've always loved to cook, especially for parties. I've done countless pounds of meat on the grill, pigs on a spit (and several other methods), rotisserie chicken, you get the idea. I started smoking a while back on my gas grill and managed to do a pretty good job. Recently, I 'upgraded' to a used Brinkman Pitmaster with a couple of mods. It has been converted to propane and a blocking plate and second stack were added to make it almost a reverse flow style. It works really well, but I already have plans to build bigger and better.

I'm looking forward to learning and sharing a lot here at SMF!
