Got a wild hair up my...you know...so I pulled out some frozen shank bones that were smoked and some left over short ribs and a package of pulled beef...threw it in a pot and cooking it down for a fine smokey chili!!

I'll let you know the recipe when I figure it out...right now it's cooking down with water, tomato soup and beef broth...the house smells great!!

Sounds like a great start and I'll be looking forward to the rest of it. Still a bit to warm for chili here but hopefully not to much longer

Thanks Pineywoods. It's still a little warm for chili here too but for some reason I just had a hankerin' for Chili Mac and thought smoked would be even better!! I'll keep ya updated...probably going to let it cook down for the rest of the night then start it back up tomorrow!

Now that's the start of something good, we need the followups.

Richo good to see you...err you know what I mean!! I just took it off the stove and let it cool down! The flavor is unbelievable and I haven't even put any seasoning in it!!!

Supervman how did I know you'd be answering!!! LOL!!!

OK - pasta in chili - I suppose you got beans in there, too! Well, it sounds good anyway -

Hey Werdwolf Just finished it up last night! Come on down! Oh and on the 19th, 20th and 21st I'm going to be at the Eagles smoking up 250#'s of pulled pork! I'll be the big bald guy running the smokers!!

Ok on to the chili... I added my rub + extra cumin, chili powder and garlic powder.
2 chopped onions
1 can tomato paste
1 can light red beans
1 can dark read beans
1 can black beans
1 can tomato paste
6 diced roma tomatoes
2 cups of slice pickled jalapeno's

It's great!!!
