Hello everyone!

I am "KCsmokinDad" but you can call me Brian. I live in Overland Park, KS a suburb in the BBQ capital - Kansas City. I am a business systems analyst for a major financial company, I have five kids and have been happily married for 21 years.

My wife bought me a Brinkmann Barrel Smoker for Christmas and I am looking forward to learning more about the art and techniques of smoking meats.

I know its not one of the high-end smokers but I wanted something I could learn with and build my skills on without breaking the bank. My wife did the reseach and Home Depot suggested this smoker.

I look foward to learning more and getting to know everyone.

Thanks!

-Brian
