I have a new master built electric smokehouse smoker, digital model.
I was doing ribs today, 6 hr recipe .
At 4 hrs heard clicking and the smoker shut off. I turned it back on and the digital unit on top started clicking again and shut off.
I unplugged it started again and it worked but only if I set temp immediate and fast. I continued the last two hours with no issues. This has a remote and I originally set it up using the remote.
Could this be a wifi issue? The wifi symbol has never lit up on the remote but it does give me a count down time, probe temp so it is working

As it turns out if you setup digital smoker using smoker control than you must stay that way.
No going back and forth between remote and digital panel. Not sure if this was the issue or not but I had a heck of a time getting it fired back up.
I exchanged it.
Seasoning it as we speak
