Is it possible to use a 250 gallon tank to do a smoker and firebox and weld a wall and do a charcoal grill? Let me know

Sure,  Use half your tank for the smoker the other half for the grill, or 2/3 & 1/3

Not sure if it's a good idea. But what I did on my smoker in the CC on the RF plate I placed charcoal on it and cooked a bunch of Ribeye steaks, sucker got HOT and seared them well. I made sure all the ashes were cleaned and rinsed off the RF plate to prevent corrosion. Next time I'll make a ash pan

This is exactly what I am building. I really liked the Lang 48 Hybrid, but wanted to build it myself. I plan to divide it in half just like the lang, and do an insulated firebox. I will start a thread once I have enough pictures built up.

I wasn't aware of that rule; how many pictures do you have to have built up to start a thread?

ICYMI, the answer is zero.

Start the thread. Your experience may help others with or without pics, and the sooner the better.
