Look'n for some info here. We're having a cousin's reunion party in June and are thinking of smoking some butt for pulled pork sammies along with a few sides. After doing a count of how many guest will show up (35) we're wondering how many lbs. of butt to smoke. So if you have experience providing pulled pork for 35 people please give us your input of how many lbs. to put in the smoker. If it's too big a job I may hire it out. Also, thinking of doing the smoke the day b4 upto an internal temp of 165 degrees and finishing it off the next day in the oven. Seems like cheating to me as I've never finished off this way b4. I need to be available the day of the party as a host. These folks are my wife's cousins and I know only her 7 sibs and 2 or 3 of the cousin. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
