Smoked some hamburgers

    Smoked some hamburgers, this time I put a chunk of blue cheese in the middle. 



    • 2 pounds ground beef (80%-20%, or 85%-15%*)
    • 1/4 cup chopped jalapeño 
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
    • 1 whole, large egg
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    • 1/2 pound sliced cheddar or jack cheese
    Smoked at 250 for about an hour, so freaking good and easy to make.

    Looks great! I really like the thin buns so you can actually bite the. Burger!

    Burgers look great! I agree with b-one about the bun;

    Less bread = More meat!! [​IMG]

    looks like last time we made burgers with Flat Bread....or one of many variations of the bread...to me definitely not buns....jeff
