Well yesterday was a fine day for smoking. Not too many nice days left to use my Oklahoma Joe. This is my third smoke on the OKJ Highland. After removing the aluminum elbow mod, she performed flawlessly! I was excited about that.

The meatloaf recipe I used was nothing fancy. It was this one from a previous post: http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/253608/smoked-meatloaf-saturday

The meatloaf was smoked with oak and maple. I maintained a temp of 235F...it took 3.5 hours.

Once finished, I served with cauliflower gratin.

    Ready for the smoker:

Here's the meatloaf at 150 internal temp. This was right before I used a bbq bourbon glaze. (Store bought Wegmans brand):

    Cauliflower gratin:

    First slices, nice smoke ring:

    All plated up for dinner:

The meatloaf came out awesome, much tastier than on my gasser. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the points. I pulled mine at 165. They usually average 3-4 hours for me. Less time if i make them flatter.

Thanks griz and thanks for the point. I smoke meatloaf a lot. Once smoked, it's hard to have any other way.

Thank you Al and thanks for the point!

Just finished a meatloaf sammie. Meatloaf with melted havarti on a toasted bun. Good stuff!

Thanks for the points Richie. There is sautéed onions and bell pepper in the loaf, they're diced small but you could see them in the sides on the first pic. I can't make a meatloaf without onions. Peppers, well it depends if I have them.

I wish I knew how to post larger pics here. All my photos are small unless clicked on. I see a lot of other posts where the picture fills the entire border, I gotta figure that out.

Agree, once you have had smoked meatloaf there is no other way to eat it.  Such a simple smoke to.  Stress free, good excuse to fire up the smoker.

How about cooked onions on top of meat...like White Castle?

Damn, nice pic. That's the size I need mine posted at. Now I can't wait to eat lunch. It's going to be a long 3 hours.
