Smoked Meatloaf Help.

  1. Hello all! I just got a MES 40 and going to try to smoke a meatloaf. I know its all personal taste but how many chips should i use. Would one load be enough or replace after an hour or so? also, better to do in a loaf pan with holes or just on the grate? Thanks!

    I would put it on a rack without a pan. You are going to have to add chips every 30 - 40 minutes. If you want to make life easy get an AMNS smoke generator. They will give you consistent TBS for 4-6 hours.
