Made a bbq spaghetti a couple weeks ago, and it was a hit. This time I used ground pork I molded into a loaf, and smoked. I am also smoking some garlic for the sauce.

The pork is done, and looks nice, just a basic mealof mold, and some bbq rub ontop.

The sauce will be:

1 jar marinara
1/2 cup bbq sauce
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 head smoked garlic.

I will sautee the onion, and green pepper, then add the sauces, and the smoked meat and garlic. I will simmer for oven an hour.

I will mix the meat sauce with the 1# cooked spaghetti, and then top with thin slices of fresh mozz, and some parmesan. I will smoke until the cheese melts.

here are the pics of the pork

more pics to follow as the day progresses. thanks for looking

thanks, you'd have to fight my wife this is one of her favorites, and making it allows me to be doing ribs again this weekend.

Can't wait to see the end of this one, was thinking about making BBQ spaghetti the other night (never tried it before) but didn't have a recipe and nothing I found online struck my fancy, from the look of this post I'll now have a recipe for doing one

glad I can help, I used a smoked ground beef loaf last time, and think the smoked pork loaf will be great.

I am waiting to see how this one comes out, Spaghetti is one of my favorite foods and the thought of BBQ Spaghetti never occured to me until I saw it on the Food Network. It sounds interesting but I would prefer someone else be the first tester...

just pulled the spaghetti, nice,.... posting pics may have to wait for tomorrow with the O.U. game coming on and al..

Darn it Jim your killing us out here. But It will all work out and we will get over it. I have tried BBq spaghetti but it was completely different. The wife found it on the food network by a pair of their biggest Idiots The Neeley's. They toke simple hambuger met and just threw in some BBq sauce and called it good and then they said they serve it in their resturant. I really like your version much much better with real smoke BBq. I will try this one and let the wife even try it too. Great Job

Smoked the spaghetti about 1.5 hours, and then put in a 200 degree oven covered with foild for about 30 mins as the other items were getting ready.

I used bulk italian and pork sausage. Mixed and made a loaf. Smoked then cubed.

Followed the rest of the directions and it turned out fantastic! If wifey likes it then its a hit.

sounds good, my wife likes this dish as well, which is great, becuase its another green light to fire up the smoker, and sneak some ribs on there for me.
