Smoked Chicken Quarters

  1. Decided last minute to smoke up some chicken quarters. Got them oiled up and hit with Jeff's rub. Putting on smoker around 300. Using Kingsford Comp briquettes and peach mini splits. Will brush with Jeff's sauce near the end of smoke.

  3. Thanks Chad. I'm one hour in and chix around 150+ degrees. Cruising around 300.

  5. Thanks Case. 1 hour 45 min into smoke and chix at 180 (I'm not a 165 guy on dark meat chick). Birds taken off and sauced, and putting back on the smoker for 15 min. Buster is checking for uninvited guests.

  11. Thanks Adam. Little EVOO, Jeff's rub and sauce, and a 300 degree smoker can work magic on chicken!!!
