Smoked Chicken for Mothers Day

Discussion in 'Poultry' started by bigdan05, May 8, 2012.

  1. I am gonna smoke a pair of chickens for my grandma this afternoon for mothers day.  I have got them in a simple brine and i am gonna use McCormicks applewood rub on one, got a homemade recipe for the other. Not to sure about my homemade rub it may be too spicy for her. So if someone could pitch me a good mild rub for poultry I would greatly appreciate it.
