I had some for lunch and it was very good but the taters weren't smoked. It had chunks of baked potato with the skins on. I have only made smoked potatoes once and they didn't turn out that great, didn't smoke long enough though. Anyway, I thought all day about making it. It would make your basic cream of potato soup with the smoked taters, and maybe some bits of smoked pork or bacon. Anybody made this? If so how was it? What do you think?
