Anyone figured out a good way to use a smoke tube in a gas smoker.....?  Always seems to go out....not enough air or something.......!

I use mine all the time. Primarily for cold smoking. But I do use it for hot smoking. You need to have all your vents wide open and you need to keep the pit temp below 285.

I've got the XL 40 Masterbuilt propane and had to do a mod to get it work.
I took two small pieces of 2x4s wrapped them in foil and set them on the floor of the cabinet along the left side...one in the front, one in the back.
I rest my tube on these small hunks of wood.
I then drilled 5 evenly spaced holes about the diameter of a pencil (about 1/4 inch diameter) through the cabinet along the same side the tube lays about even with the center of the tube.
Works great now...and the additional holes seemed to even out the temps inside the cabinet too...decreased the hot spots, I'm assuming due to the increased air flow.

I use the small tube in my 2 door propane Masterbuilt smoker.  I just set the tube on the bottom rack off to the side.  Also make sure your pellets are dry.  I didn't close the bag one time and I was having fits keeping the pellets lit.

I use one when I cold smoke and yes they need as much air coming to them as you can otherwise you end up very fustrated
