Both of them are available locally, which one should I get? Im pretty handy so making the mods on them wont be a problem. Which one is better?

thanks, im still stuck. I was hoping for some personal experiences. From what i've heard though they're fairly similar.

I've had both. When it came time to replace my SNP, I went with the Chargriller. I like the cast iron cooking grates in the CG. I also like the ash drawer in the CGs SFB. I makes dumping hot ash during a long smoke very easy. I've done very minimal mods on mine & it cooks great.

I've got a CG, but recently got to get a good look at the SNP. My observations are:
The CG Super Pro has a larger cooking area in main chamber.
The CG Super Pro entire upper half is hinged to open as opposed to just a door on the cooking chamber on the SNP. The SNP might retain more heat when mopping or spritzing food. On the other hand, could limit the amount and/or size of food.
The SNP has a larger firebox to smoke chamber proportion, may contribute to being able to get hotter temps/longer burn times.

Just my opinion.
