I am looking into a new propane smoker and I have been researching these two.  They seem fairly similar, with similar pros/cons.

Anyone care to offer up an opinion on one vs the other?  Are there any concrete advantages to one?

IF you have another propane smoker that is superior please let me know!  I just killed my first masterbuilt dual fuel which I really enjoyed.  I am looking for a slightly bigger/better propane smoker.

Thanks!

I've had a SV for about 5 years. It's very well built & since it's a Camp Chef, parts are readily available. I just replaced the whole burner assy, including the igniter, it even came with a new knob. Also the grease tray, water pan, and chip tray. The price for all of that was $76. I use this smoker 2-3 times a week & the burner wore out after 5 years. I replaced the other parts just for the heck of it. It is like a brand new smoker again. I don't know anything about the Smoke Hollow.

Wow that's a pretty good endorsement.

Any issues with the cooking space?

How does it hold temps in cold/heat?  How low/high can you get it?

Ever have any issues with it sucking down propane?

Thanks again!

Any issues with the cooking space?  I have the 24 & it is huge.

How does it hold temps in cold/heat? I'm in Florida, so I can't comment on the cold.   How low/high can you get it?  125-400+

Ever have any issues with it sucking down propane? No, I use it all the time & a 20# lasts for weeks.

Thanks again!
