With my grandfather being in the hospital I won't have the time to cook much for a little while at least so I made a few things that I could warm up quickly or take with me.

I started with these 2 sirloin tips.

SPOG treatment.

Prepping the ABTs.

These are for the good ones

I mixed some Death Rain Nitro in with half a pack of cream cheese. This is some GREAT stuff!

I put the mixed cream cheese in first followed by a piece of smoked habanero cheese & topped off with regular cream cheese & smoked cheddar.

Everything went in the smoker while I made the chicken corn soup & stuffed portabellas.

The basic soup.

& with rivels added

Here are the portabellas.

Cooked up some burger I ground with onion & garlic.

Added some homemade sauce & smoked mozz.

Stuffed the mushrooms & put a little of my pizza spice on them.

& finally some plain mozz on 3 & plain cheddar on the other 3.

Onto the grill with some fresh corn.

Done & off the grill.

Done & out of the smoker.

A few pieces cut up.

Closer view. This had GREAT smoke flavor & tenderness.

Chicken corn soup.

Good stuff.

Topped off the stuffed portabellas with some more homemade sauce.

These things are awesome!

And thanks again - he's the first one of us on my dad's side to ever make it to 80. He had a triple bypass right before he turned 78 & he is 84 now.

Crossing fingers with your Pop!

I swear you must have a Cast Iron Stomach!  That is some serious HEAT!  Oh man!

The Eats look wonderful as expected!

Everything looks great, with the exception of that fungus! You really should make some Acid Rain with those habaneros!

Hope your Grandfather gets better soon!

I guess I need to make a big batch. I want to make some with my ghosts if they finish before the frost hits...

Thanks Case

Well, on my way back today I remembered I had the rest of the chicken from the soup & didn't want to freeze it. I figured I would have time to smoke them quick tonight...

I pounded them flat & added some herbs & provolone cheese.

Then some basil, smoked habanero & mozz cheese.

I rolled them up, tied them & put them in the smoker. AMNPS with pecan. The 2 on the left I added bacon & some thin sliced ham - that's why they are so much fatter.

Updates to follow...

Hey Jeremy,

I'm sorry about the occasion, and hope that your grandfather is doing better soon.

But, wowzers, what a beautiful bunch of pictures. You are an amazing and creative cook!

Best wishes for you all!

And the breasts are now done...

Here they are right out of the smoker.

I would usually cook some rice, cut these up & put them on a nice bed of rice with some homemade sauce on top but I'm kind of drained so this will have to do

Here's a close view for you to check out - nice & juicy & flavorful with the cheese medley & the pecan complimented the herbs nicely
