i smoke turkeys and chickens mainly.....but always looking to expand the horizons. I've used several differnent types of smokers, but have settled on a propane 7-in-1 Cabelas charcoal / propane smoker recently.

Welcome! Try smoking a pork shoulder or Boston Butt. Very forgiving and an excellent piece of meat for pulled pork sandwiches!

Welcome to the SMF. You're gonna like this site, full of friendly and informative members that are willing to help you. Be sure and sign-up for Jeff's 5 day ecourse, good reading and review also. When you get a chance, try posting a pic of your smoker.

Welcome to the SMF family! As AJ mentioned, try a butt! Nothing like a well "barq'ed" pulled pork sammy..or just a pile of it...mmmm!

Ask away- someone here will have done it, fixed it, ate it, smoked it...you get the idea!
