I restore and modify cars and trucks as my main hobby, so the tools and equipment have been bought or built to help with that.  Since I already "suck" here are a few more tool pics from deep within the shop, lol.

Picking up grating tomorrow, hoping to have this thing burning this weekend if all goes well.

Vertical Milling machine and Clausing 12" lathe.  Welding bench with a Miller Synchrowave 200 Tig.

What an awesome shop!!!!!!!!

All of the above mentioned tools just sets you one more step over the top in the cool shop dept.

I want a cam table so bad I can taste it. One of these days, maybe.

Thanks Tom, alot of hard work went into collecting what I have so far.  As far as the cam table is concerned, check out www.cnczone.com   You would be suprised at how little you can build one with.  There are lots of great cnc plasma table builds over there.

Almost finished it up today.  Couple more hours tomorrow and I think it will be ready to run a hot fire in her.  Enjoy the pics.

Firebox with handle installed.

Firebox grate.  Went with something a little different.  Will have to see how it holds up.  If not I have holders underneath for 5/8" rebar.

Great build!  Love a lot of the details like the long-tailed hinges and the overhanging top on the firebox.  Can't wait to see the finished product and the q-view.  :)

Thanks guys.  Can't wait to see some Q myself.  Thinking about all the things I wanna cook has kept me up at nights.  Hopefully I will have everything finalized this week.

I guess he earned that from envy, cause I'm feeling tool/equipment/shop envy right now!

I really need a shop for my projects.  I love collecting tools too, my problem is I don't have enough SPACE to put them.

I'm saving pictures of your build cause I'm stealing some of your ideas!  Can't wait to see the finished cooker with meat cooking on it!  Great job!

That is a great build.

You certainly are a talented guy.

Looking forward to seeing the finished smoker pumping out some Q!

Oh yeah no biggie, I just tossed up some plate steel on my cutter and busted out some hinges and a fire box...no biggie......um yeah you are my new friend, way to go on the build so far.

Thanks guys.  I appreciate all the comments.  Hope to finish everything up this weekend if the heat doesn't get to me too much.

I realized I never posted a finished pic.  Here is the smoker in its final resting spot outside the shop.  I am happy with the way it turned out.  Can't wait to build the next one.
