I've been reading this blog for the past year and using a lot of the recipes and tips. Today I finally decided to sign up and see what else there is out there! I'm from upstate New York, near the state capital in Albany. Whenever someone hears I'm from New York, they automatically think I'm from New York City. That couldn't be farther from the truth. I'm located near the Adirondack mountains. It quite rural hear and I spend a lot of my time camping and fishing. I have been using a Brinkman upright gas smoker for almost 2 years and I love it. With the help of all the members of this forum, my family has been enjoying a lot of tasty BBQ and smoked foods. For that I thank you. I hope to learn more and talk to you all soon!
This is a pic of my first "Fatty" with sausage, ham, cheddar cheese, peppers and onions. I used deli ham slices to patch a hole I caused by adding too many peppers and onions. It work really well and added extra flavor.
