Beautifull shores of Lake Superior
where you live that is. We all have chamber of commerce web sites etc. that will show us all the sights and things to do around our locales. This could be interesting and perhaps encourage someone to make a visit to your area.
I live in Cloquet Mn. just 15 minutes south of Duluth which rests on the shore of the largest fresh water lake in the world. Lake Superior (I don't even swim

) Here are some pics of Duluth and Lake Superior.
So here goes.

Fishing on one of the many river inlets into Lake Superior.

This is our aerial lift bridge. Many vessels pass underneath this bridge to enter the harbor and dock at the slips. To the left is the area referred to as Canal Park. It is just a narrow jut of land out into the lake. Many nice homes as you would expect. But when there is a ship passing under the lift bridge traffic can get very backed up. To the right will take you into downtown Duluth.

Crab Apple tree, last spring.

The boys an myself with some pan fish we caught. We got some nice fishin holes less then a 1/4 mile from home. Makes fer good times an good eatin!

There is so much to do / see / hear and taste here in bayou country that it would take a lifetime to do it all.
www.louisianatravel.com is a good place to get a little sneak peek at how we do things cajun style!

Man that's beautiful there 3montes. When I was a kid, my dad would take me up every year to go smelting on the Lester river. You know that one? I love Duluth and tried to move there when we moved back from TX, but at the time, 2000, no work so we ended up here in Southern Mn.

It would be great if everyone posted a shot or two of their area, there is so much diversity to our country. My kids and wife always talk about going overseas or to other countries for a vacation. Sure it would be cool, but there is so much to see right here in the good ole USA.

I wish I had some photos of our area to contribute, but I don't, but I can offer you the next best thing.
Take a sheet of white computer paper, hold it in front of you. Thats what I see right now looking out the window.
White snow LOL.

Don't forget about that pm you sent, I told the wench, I mean the wife about it. The campground?

Thats a nice bunch of crappies and blugills you got there Travcoman

Would make any Minnesota fisherman proud to be holding that stringer. Pan fish are my absolute favorite eating fish. Especially when they come out of the ice this time of year. We just had a big fry last weekend of crappie. I like Iowa. Remids me of where I grew up in southern Minnesota farm country. Everyplace has it's own uniqueness nad history.

Hey Todd I haven't forgotten about the get together and the campground. I will be making a post in a week or two. I am still pulling together some ideas.

Duluth is a great place particularly during the two weeks of summer we get

Winter does suck though. Everything is built on a hill and getting around can just be a pain. The body shops do well in this area beleive me.

Now thats some sweet country there 3 montes. I really like the fishing hole you have too. To all of you guys out there. I like the crappie you and your boys have there tip.
