Greetings everyone. I have been lurking around here for a few says since I got my Brinkmann Smoke N Pit for my birthday. I've been wanting a smoker for a while since I have been a passionate griller and all around cook for years. I am already looking to modify the Brinkmann.

I am lucky to have a father in law with a lot of land covered in fruit trees. I have nectarine and grape wood coming outta my ears. I have pretty been using nectarine and mesquite exclusively on my gas grill to add flavor, though I would love to try other woods for the smoker or the grill.

Thanks for being a great resource to new smokers like myself.

First off welcome Brew to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.
