Second Time Smoker

Hello from Quantico, VA, my name is Mike.  After watching my father year after year smoke our Thanksgiving Turkey (which is famous among our friends and family), I decided it was time to give it a shot.  I smoked my first Turkey this past Thanksgiving and want to get into smoking all types of meat.  I stumbled on this forum while doing a little research because I am smoking two turkeys for New Year's dinner and was not quite sure about smoking time.

I look forward to learning all I can from the forum members and picking your brains from time to time when I try something new.  Well....back to finishing up these Turkeys.

First off welcome to SMF there Mike. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
