Hey All:
I'm not even a novice smoker yet. Santa brought a Weber Smokey Mountain Smoker for me this Christmas. Honestly, I haven't even assembled the thing yet since January in Philly doesn't bode well for outdoor assembly-required items. Grilling/cooking in the cold is nothing new between Eagles and Penn State tailgates, but, for now I'll collect recipies and all the information I can about the types of meat and what ever else one can smoke, types of wood to use in the smoker, where to go to get the best prices on accessories, and those tricks of the trade from those of you in the know.
I had no idea of the community that has formed around smoking, and it's awesome to see. Obviously, I have a lot to learn. It would seem that I have come to the right place.
