I'm going to have to see if my gas grill will do a good sear , if not I'll just have to break down and get another charcoal burning device .

That does look fantastic. Very nice work. Did you keep it in the pan to save the juices? I usually go straight on the rack so I'm curious.
 
I kept it in the pan for the whole smoke. Flipping it once. Used all those juices for some wicked good gravy.
