Working good too!

Christened her with a couple of racks of back ribs. Didn't take any pics 'cause I didn't know if Ol' Ugli would work.

Turned out, it was fine. Held temps nice and steady. 
 
Well after about 15- 20 smokes on it, I figure this Ugli works like a charm. This past weekend I did a couple of butts, and the smoker was steady as a rock for 20 hrs.

I figure at this point I can call it finished. So I gave it a good spray with some flat black barbecue paint.

I miss the old blue colour

Wow! I can't believe it's been 4 1/2 yrs since I built this. It's still working like a charm, and getting uglier. I think in the spring it may be time for a new coat of paint. This thing has sat outside through sun, rain, wind, sleet & snow all that time, and has not missed a beat.

Hmmmmm----Thinking of all the Awesome Vittles that came through that Ugly "Beauty"!!
