Hello, just saying hi.  Ready to get into BBQ'ing.  Looking at smoker options, have my eye on an MES 30", although still debating if I should go with a 40" instead.  Just the wife and I, daughter is off at college and won't be around to eat much, so part of the reason why I'm still debating size.  Excited to get started.  Have been reading the forums.  Want to go with an AMNPS and some wood pellets for smoke.  And have been shopping for meat!  Anyhow, thanks to all who have been there and done that and continue to provide great advice to the newbs.  Everyone was a newb at some point.  But ready to get my hands dirty and my belly full.

Welcome to SMF vwaldoguy!  Glad you're here and looking forward to getting involved with our addictive obsession!  There are lots of folks here with both the 30 and 40" MES.  The 40" will give you a little more flexibility for meat size and capacity, but whatever decision you make will be perfect.  Enjoy it and learn all you can.

Have fun!
