Sausage Stick Recipe

  I am looking for a good sausage stick recipe. I have a Masterbuilt smoker and will be smoking them after stuffing. I would like to hear about and good recipes you may have as well as what you feel the best type of wood for smoking the sausage sticks would be.

Pecan is my favorite wood,  right next to hickory.

If you have a favorite summer sausage it will work for a stick and taste somewhat different for some reason. This is my hot link recipe which I also use for sticks, it's good, but it's a whole lot of ingredients.
