Had to smoke a 8lb. pork butt and small brisket point for saturday nights Bristol nascar race...Used my own pork rub on the butt with a apple juice and worcestershire spray, mix of apple, hickory and mesquite woods for the smoke on the 7in1 masterbuilt gasser...My beef rub and same spray on the brisket..After 5 hours wrapped the brisket and @ 7 hours wrapped the butt pulled out @ 10 hours........Pulled with a pair of (Bear Paws) which I highly recommend that everyone buy a set of these before your next smoke...Brisket must have been really good since it was gone as fast as I could slice it (reason for no picture).......Used my homemade sauce which is in the Makers Mark bottle.... Great food with family and friends....And a really good Bristol night race....Enjoy the smoke....DB BBQ

It sure looks good DB. The sauce in the Maker's bottle is a pretty cool idea. Looks neat, I always dig the red wax the Maker's is dipped in anyway.

Well thanks alot! I just ate about 30 minutes ago and now I look at your smoke and I am drooling on the keyboard. I gotta get in the truck and go back to the store and find a good pork butt to smoke. That ham sammich just ain't gonna cut it.Anyway through venting now......good looking butt and the bark is perfect on that thing.
