Greetings all, one of my best presents of all time, and now I need to learn how to use it. I live in GA outside of the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. I used the site to research the basics and fundamentals of the art of smoking meat. Found a dry rub recipe, how to cook my ribs, and it was a success I'd have to say. I was very nervous so I put a backup rack in the oven for 4 hours, the rest went into the smoker for 3.5 hours. Let's just say we ran out of the smoker ribs and I put the oven ones in to go boxes for the Inlaws. Im a novice smoker but have been around lots of family and friends and paid attention of some things to do, and some things of what not to do. I look forward to developing my skills and getting to know everyone. Happy New Year! Mike
