Sam's Chicken W/Qview With Turkey Bacon And Some Shrimp Wraped In Turkey Bacon

Ok, I have posted these in the past, but for all the newbies here, this is a no brainer. Ask the person at the rotisserie where the have the chickens for a raw one. They are already pumped and rubed. Ask them for a big one also. This one was almost 5 pounds.



Put in the MES at 235'



Here are some shrimp candy wraped with turkey bacon done a few days ago. Smoked at 150'.

Here is the chicken at 165'.

Thanks for the post Ron. Love the continual use of turkey bacon. Anything turkey is alright in my book.
Gonna take a trip through the Bob Evans drive-thru and try to order a raw bird

Seriously though, points for such minor prep for a great meal.
Did they charge you same price even though it wasn't cooked?
Figure they probably would.

Thanks for the idea Ron, I would have never thought of that. I always figured they wouldn't sell them raw for liability reasons. I will certainly check it out, will sure make life a little simpler.

I do like sam's chickens and took your lead Ron, but as I was afraid they wouldn't sell me a raw one already for cooking. According to the meat manager it is a liability issue... Go figure, I can buy a raw bird, but only from the meat case.

Was worth a shot, this was several weeks ago, may try again in the future.
