first problem cedar plank (Cedar does not grow in Europe)
After a long search I have found 4 planks for 19,75€ = 29,62$

Soak my plank in water

Glaze

the salmon rubbed
the cut off parts ,I finish with olive oil and salt and pepper,to try once

the preheated plank

salmon placed on the plank

salmon ready to go to table

on table

still bubbling, simmering at the table

the salmon cut

We have really enjoyed it, it is rapidly ready 25 minus and it is not much preparation

I use direct method, got it done on my Weber gas grill
but is possible also on my PRO Q smoker
We will certainly prepare this meal for friends

Thanks for looking

You have done a great job cooking both of them not so much the ribs but I'm really sure it's not the last time that you smoke beef ribs thou. Great job an

What a great looking hunk of salmon! I have to try that one as soon as our pastor and overseer get back from their fishing trip today! I hope they caught some steelhead (very close cousin to salmon)!
