Rub was good

I tried Jeff's naked rub on some chicken breast yesterday. They turned out good. My wife says it is too hot for her....So I cut back on a couple of the hot items...No secret revealed...I have now made a new batch and will be trying it out soon...I also added a little more brown sugar. I think that will cut back on the spice taste...And hopefully I will be able to tweak it to where she thinks it is the greatest too..
Any suggestions appreciated.

Jeff, himself, will tell you.......fine tune his rub to YOUR likings and tastes......thats whats great about this site.........it gives you the tools, and then you adapt everything to YOUR tastes........casue is YOU that is the final judge of the product. There are few hard fast rules here. Cept for q-view........LOLOL

I bought Jeff's recipe last night to use on a butt and some chicken wings. It's good stuff! I just made the sauce too. Now to adapt that to a different base!

I like the heat of it but I did add some more brown sugar and I also added some allspice to it.

As far as I am concerned it was money well spent.

Thanks Walking Dude...I am not new to smokin meat...was just looking for suggestions that might of worked for others...I myself got to cut back the heat to keep my wifey happy...She doesn't care for lots of heat and spice. No biggie..
