I am in the early stage of designing a rotisserie smoker, I plan on doing a cardboard mock up before actual fabrication begins. My question is, I plan on a 4-5 shelf rotisserie, how big does the "ferris wheel" that the shelves will be mounted to need to be? Does it depend on the size of the overall smoker dimensions? Just some random questions I have at the moment. Thinking shelves to be 24" wide by 48" length.

Thanks,

Dave

Dave ha you covered. Two ways to go about it. Design your rack system then design the smoker around it. Or design your smoker then make wheel and racks to fit.

Personally I'd go with option 1.
