Hello all,

First post here. Wanted to share another Father's Day meal with you guys. Hope everyone had a good one!! This was my first Father's Day officially, so i figured no better way to spend it other than smoking a bunch of good meat! I'm from New Market Alabama. North Alabama, home of the Space and Rocket Center. Woohoo!!!

So check out the ribs and tri-tip pics below!

Welcome to SMF and it looks like you had a great day with the smoker

Hey guys! Thanks for looking and the positive comments. The inlaws really enjoyed the food, so I am happy. Lots of leftovers for the next day and some for the dog too.

I went into the smoking world basically blindfolded. I got that one at Lowes, and have grown to like it really. I want/wish i could get a longer smoke time, but i cant complain with the visual results from the factory setup. Any suggestions for a modification there you guys have done?

BTW.....i love this forum, and the people. I hope to post more stuff in the future to make mouths water! And look forward to your posts as well!

The tri-tip is one i found at Costco, and it was good on the grill so i decided to smoke one. Had to cook it longer than i would have liked since the inlaws come over.
