I was told that it would be a good idea to write a roll call thread to let you good people know a little about me. Let's see, I have always loved good BBQ and basically anything I can cook outside. Oh, about my smoker. I just finished this one. I used a 250 gallon propane tank and built an offset smoker but "reverse flow" I love this thing. Anyways, I'm so happy to have found this sight. Everyone around here (Texas) is so tight lipped about there methods.

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  Many good folks here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  Check out Jeff’s 5 day smoking E-Course ( link below ) that will help you get started.  Couple other good threads to help you get started included.  We look forward to your contributions. This Texas boy will tell you anything you want to know!  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Oh, and I just read about smoking fatties on here almost all night. To the man that come up with the "fatty"... I just don't have the words.
