Hello Smoking Meat Forums.  My name is Rob Fassett, son of Pops Fassett (Smoking Meats Moderator)

I'm in Fort Worth, Texas.

Brand new smoker: Masterbuilt 30in Electric Smoker.

Pre-seasoned according to directions [in manual], except I put the wood chips in for an hour.

I'm very new to smoking meats, on my own, so I may be asking a few [easy to answer] questions.

I look forward to 'forum-ing' with everyone, and be gentle!

Rob Fassett

Thank you sir. I made this account a few years ago, and I'm wondering if I can change my handle from RockmanRob to RedBeardedRob?

i had been given a hand-me-down smoker that sort of fell apart, so I ditched it. Now, after obtaining a brand new smoker, I plan on being much more active. In other online endevours, I'm known as the latter and I'd like this to match up.

Can this be done?
