Hey what is going on?  I am new here but not new to cooking a smoker or grill.  I like to get out and throw some meat in the smoker and drink some cold ones while it's greatness is smoldering.  If there is anyone in the Mechanicsville area holler at me and we can get together sometime and cook.  I have 2 little girls ages 2 and 4 so while I am cooking they are running wild in the back yard.  I will tell you guys if you have never smoked a cheeseburger you are missing out.  Make up some patties and throw them in the smoker for about an hour or hour and a half at 180 or 200 degrees and then taste heaven.  I will never cook a burger on the grill again!  I look forward to sharing ideas with you guys and hopefully eating some of your food and drinking your beer!  BOOMER SOONER

Thanks.  What part of VA are you from?  I am not actually a Virginian, I moved here last year.  I am originally an Okie!  One thing that dries me nuts about the east coast is that it is hard to find beef ribs!  Love the seafood though..

We are actually planning a trip up that direction this summer.  My wife works with Bluegreen Resorts and they have one somewhere in the valley there.  I will let  you know when we get everything finalized and I know exactly where it is.  You might be able to help with some places to go and places to eat and drink!  Drink will be good!
