Had one last package of ribs in the freezer and wanted to use them up. I wanted to try something a little different this time so I tried them with a sauce that I sometimes use with chicken wings. First they were rubbed lightly with some SPOG. I used my grill because the smoker is still in the garage, but I made a little smoker box that works quite well with the grill. The temp was maintained around 235 for about 5 1/2 hrs. I used cherry wood chips for the smoke. They turned out better than expected and were gone in no time.

The sauce was applied a couple of times during the last hour of cooking

Grilled up some fresh pineapple and glazed it with the same sauce and had some Japanese noodles with it

Here is the sauce recipe if anyone is interested

1 1/2 tsp sesame oil

1 1/2 tsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic minced

1 1/2 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp red pepper flakes

10 oz. orange marmalade

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

Simmer all ingredients 5 min. A little water might be needed if it gets too thick.
