Grilling season is in full effect (has been in socal for many months, lol) and nothing is better than a grilled ribeye am I right? Did the reverse sear on these, nothing special seasoning wise just kosher salt and lots of pepper. Smoked these with pecan for about an hour

Great looking Plate! Reverse ribeyes are great!!! Only ruing that could make that better is some cherry wood, but that's my favorite, 50/50 Cherry and pecan!

Looks incredible man! Love the doneness!
Thanks

Hah, ya every time I cook something I have to look in my big bin of wood chips and decide what to use, haven't found one I don't like yet so I just close my eyes and pick one out

Looks awesome Brandon ! Them look real tasty..... Hard to beat the RS on a good steak ! :kewl:

Great looking grill! 3 steaks, that's 2 for you and one for the bride right?

Grilled steaks and grilled chickens are great, That was always my first thought when I came in the door from work.

Really a good looking job. Oh and those mushrooms lookin good too!

These look awesome.  Perfect sear and warm, pink center.  Gotta love it when a home-cooked steak comes out perfect, cause it is not that  easy to do.

Looks good!

Question: any idea what temp your grill was running? When I reverse sear mine I can only get about 30 minutes out of them before they come up to temp. Would love to have another 30 minutes to impart more smoke before the sear.

It was around 225F, they were pretty thick about 1 1/2". The thicker they are the longer you can leave them in the smoke. Cheers!
