We got a lot done on the trailer today. First thing we did was box the ends of the frame.
And then moved on to the crossmembers.
Before finally coming to the tongue.
We notched the tongue where it extended past the frame rails and then bent the excess back over the frame rails and welded.
There is a little bit of welding to do next Saturday but should be able to get a coat of Ospho on in the early afternoon and then paint it on Sunday. We are hoping to lift the smoker onto the trailer next Monday.

The plan at this point is to finish welding on Saturday morning, get the frame set up on the axles, apply a coat of Ospho, paint on Sunday and then lift the smoker onto the trailer Monday afternoon. We should have it all wired up Tuesday or Wednesday.
The welding of the frame was completed today and some axles stuck under it.
Swing-away jack was welded on as well.
And the smoker itself was prepped to be moved onto the trailer.
Tomorrow is paint and maybe wiring it up.
