I have done lots of looking and reading on here for months, Im in the process of building a smoker and have decided to change up my initial plan a bit, I have used the calculator to figure all the size holes and so on, I have figured I have 12396 cubic in CC, well doing all the other math on the calculator I have come up with all the number I need Im just having a hard time figuring everything out. For example it says my FB to CC opening needs to be 49 square in, how do I figure the size of the hole its going to be shaped like a half circle ( CC is a 24in pipe and FB is going to be square) Any advice would be great.

They've stepped their game at that website. All sorts of calculators for smokers. Tagged SmokerBuilder.

    Thanks Pete

Man that's good stuff I'm on my way now thanks a bunch
  5. The easiest way IMO is double the divide by pi and that give you the diameter of the half circle
