Found this beauty to day, at one of my customers, and he says I can have it for free, if I remove it!

It's 94 inches long by 24 inches in diameter, I would say a minimum of 1/4 inch thick.

Now this is my idea on this, welcome to any suggestions from members.

A Reverse Flow Propane Heated Smoker. It will have two doors due to the size. Two main propane burners running 3/4 length of of the smoker, with a smaller burner at the end were the fire box would be, with a thick steel plate above that wood pellets/chucks sit on and the heat from the plate burns them, similar to Bradley idea.

    Welcome any feedback from members.

Sm, afternoon.... you have posted this in 2 threads..... that leads to confusion and problems trying to keep our answers meaningful.....

I recommend you delete the other post in the UK build thread

Hi, I have draw up a rough idea of what I am thinking. Changed design slightly, moved away from a Hot Plate to put wood pellets/chips or chunks, and go with an AMPS.

Under the cylinder which you can not see in the photos is a 7 inch drain pot that would need to be blanked of, so if I fabricate a box to cover this that the AMPS sits in, covers two jobs in one.

    This is the idea,

Your smoke generator needs to sit "down stream" of the flames..... flames consume smoke.... Dave

Hi Dave, thanks for that information. Looking to build an internal duct to carry the smoke, level our just above the RF Plate so the rising heat will also aid pulling the smoke in to the chamber.
